Steve & Kate's Berkeley
· DATES: Jun 12 - Aug 11, 2017
· ADDRESS: The Berkeley School, 1310 University Avenue, Berkeley
I wish I could be a camper!
I searched high and low for the right camp job, and after four years trying to find the right now, I found Steve & Kate's. I wanted to be a camper myself - "Sign me up Mom, I'm ready to go!" Now I get to be the one who is providing such an amazing program to kids from all over the Berkeley area and beyond.
I am a problem solver by nature, so getting to see kiddos explore and find their own ways and solutions in a free and creative environment just warms my heart so much. I can't wait to help your child become an independent and motivated thinker! - Jessica

Thanks so much for your camp. We wish his elementary school was designed the same way! He absolutely flourished over the summer because of it. Brilliant organization and wonderful, caring counsellors. Also, the food was a big hit! He loved it. - David S. (Berkeley parent)
He LOVED it. It was one of the best received camps he's ever gone to, and he's been to a lot. I appreciated the staff keeping in touch with us, how it was organized, both on the first day of camp and all the info on the website. I love the hours and that lunch is included. I love the creativity and independence you foster. Thank you very much. - Karin R. (Berkeley parent)
My son loves Steve & Kate's. I strongly recommend [it] to everyone, and I plan to have him go every year until he's too old. For my son, Steve & Kate's in Berkeley is both familiar to him and a place he feels safe. A lot of camps offer childcare, Steve & Kate's offers a place where kids can be themselves and have a blast. It's a place created for kids and focused on giving them autonomy and the ability to explore and be themselves. - Bethany C. (Berkeley parent)
Activities for every interest.
Whatever your child’s passion, they can push their limits at our camp.

Each day at camp, we feature at least one of three show stoppers from our lineup for campers to experience. Directors at each location will decide when and how often to schedule each of these Specials, so feel free to contact your Director to find out what will be scheduled each day.
Smart Karts - Get behind the wheel of one of Silicon Valley's latest and greatest inventions: the first electric smart-kart for kids. Campers must wear helmets while driving go-karts. While the camp will provide helmets, we prefer and encourage you to provide your own if you have one and your child would like to participate.
Gaga - Jump into a fast paced, high energy version of dodgeball played in an octagonal pit.
Giant Games - Our king-sized outdoor Giant Chess, Giant Checkers, and Giant Connect 4 sets bring these classic games to life.
