Steve & Kate's Denver
· DATES: Jun 12 - Aug 11, 2017
· ADDRESS: The Logan School for Creative Learning, 1005 Yosemite Street, Denver

I love camp!

After 16 years of working at various summer camps across the country, I just can’t get enough.  As a shy child with varied interests like soccer, science, and drawing, I was a bit of a social misfit. Camp was an amazing outlet for me. A place where it was ok to be a goof, where my uniqueness was celebrated, even encouraged.

Do I love that I get to play dodgeball and make friendship bracelets as part of my job, absolutely. But providing a place where campers learn to respect each other, take creative risks, and feel more comfortable being their authentic selves, that is what keeps bringing me back.

Hope to see you this summer!
- Chas and Ollie (the camp dog)

About Ollie:  He's a 24lb, 2-year-old rescue from MaxFund.  His favorite things are belly rubs, smelling EVERYTHING, and watching me retrieve his toy after refusing to fetch.  He's a very mellow dog and is great at cheering up campers.  He's definitely a camp favorite!

Just wanted to say how much my son Silas enjoyed his week at Steve and Kate’s camp this summer. He did a lot of camps – zoo camp, museum of nature and science camp, invention camp, Avid4Adventure, and PASS camp – and he said Steve and Kate’s was his absolute favorite!Plus it was the only camp he did without a friend that he knew, and it was still his best week! He loved making movies/trailers, riding the go carts, making his own bagel, and the independence you all gave him. Keep up the good work. He’ll be back next summer – maybe the whole summer this time! – along with his younger sister. - Jessica Y. (S&K Parent)
Chas ROCKED!!!! Truly, he's a wonderful camp director. I have already referred several friends. - Tara S. (S&K parent)

Each day at camp, we feature at least one of three show stoppers from our lineup for campers to experience. Directors at each location will decide when and how often to schedule each of these Specials, so feel free to contact your Director to find out what will be scheduled each day.

Slip and Slide - Cool off in style in our inflatable slip and slide. Weather permitting, this will be offered most afternoons. Please bring a swimsuit and towel if your camper would like to participate.

Smart Karts - Get behind the wheel of one of Silicon Valley's latest and greatest inventions: the first electric smart-kart for kids. Campers must wear helmets while driving go-karts. While the camp will provide helmets, we prefer and encourage you to provide your own if you have one and your child would like to participate.

Zorbs - Climb inside of one of our giant 10' inflatable hamster balls and weave your way through an obstacle course as fast as a hamster.
