Steve & Kate's Los Angeles - Hancock Park
· DATES: Jun 13 - Aug 11, 2017
· ADDRESS: Third Street Elementary School, 201 South June Street, Los Angeles

Why do I love Steve & Kate's?

This is my fifth summer at Steve & Kate's, and I love what I get to do because of the amazing kids I have the privilege of working with. It might sound cheesy, but I really hope to touch the lives of each of my campers in an impactful way. For some, it may simply be that they look back on their camp experience with fond memories. But for others, it will forever change the way they feel about themselves and the world around them. When kids feel uninhibited, it's amazing what they will do. I hope to create a space where children feel uplifted, rather than constrained by adults, because that's when they really flourish! - Jeanne

I loved the freedom to roam. In LA the chance of my child getting to go out and roam about discovering things on her own is a nightmare. I love that at Steve and Kate's there is the feeling of total freedom, with actual safety. - Andrea R. (Hancock Park parent)
Steve and Kate’s was his first camp experience and he loved it. He made friends, he made memories, he learned things along the way. The team there is clearly committed to every child’s well-being and they make each young person feel special. You have a fan for life in the form of a little 8 year-old, his mom, and grandmother. - Dylan K. (Hancock Park parent)
My 5 year old daughter absolutely LOVED Steve and Kate's and so did I. My daughter loved that she could do any activity she chose. There are so many to choose from. I loved it because you can drop off ANYTIME after 7:30am and pick up ANYTIME before 6pm. The staff is so friendly and caring. Very accommodating. It's the best! - Sabrina L. (Hancock Park parent)

Each day at camp, we feature at least one of three show stoppers from our lineup for campers to experience. Directors at each location will decide when and how often to schedule each of these Specials, so feel free to contact your Director to find out what will be scheduled each day.

Slip and Slide - Cool off in style in our inflatable slip and slide. Weather permitting, this will be offered most afternoons. Please bring a swimsuit and towel if your camper would like to participate.

Gaga - Jump into a fast paced, high energy version of dodgeball played in an octagonal pit.

Skates - Cruise around camp on a pair of modern-day roller skates with a unique wheel configuration designed for maneuverability. Campers must wear helmets and pads while skating. While the camp will provide safety equipment, we prefer and encourage you to provide your own if you have them and your child would like to participate.
