Steve & Kate's Walnut Creek
· DATES: Jun 12 - Aug 18, 2017
· ADDRESS: Contra Costa Christian Schools, 2721 Larkey Lane, Walnut Creek

What makes our camp so special?

There’s a lot to love about working with Steve & Kate’s: an innovative program, a chance to offer something of real value to our communities, Friday Pie Day. But the part that I love most is very fundamental. The people. My team, my campers, my parents. Over the past three years, our not so little community has become like a family, complete with inside jokes, laughter and tears, shared triumphs and learning opportunities. It hasn’t gotten any easier (because we try to make each summer better than the last), but it’s grown much more personal. There's something special brewing in Walnut Creek, and we're working with our host school to make this next chapter the best one yet. Curious to learn more? Let's talk. Because the most important part of my master plan is YOU. (Insert evil laugh here.) - Patrick

Let's start a conversation »

As a mom, I'd like to specially thank to Patrick. He always made us feel very comfortable, safe and trustworthy. He even remembers my little one's name even she hasn't attended to the camp which shows how well he bonds to camper's family. - Jihyun L. (S&K parent)
The staff is amazing. We are always greeted each morning with open arms and a warm smile. Each counselor makes an effort to get to know the kids and I also feel like the team is well educated and want to get into teaching in some capacity because they love children. Its infectious! - Tara S. (S&K parent)
I was expectedly a bit nervous at the first drop off and I think my kids were too as this was a new experience for us. But pleasantly we were greeted by friendly "counselors" and the director Patrick who made not only my two children feel welcome, but helped me , a nervous mom, feel at ease. - Julie C. (S&K parent)

Each day at camp, we feature at least one of three show stoppers from our lineup for campers to experience. Directors at each location will decide when and how often to schedule each of these Specials, so feel free to contact your Director to find out what will be scheduled each day.

Slip and Slide - Cool off in style in our inflatable slip and slide. Weather permitting, this will be offered most afternoons. Please bring a swimsuit and towel if your camper would like to participate.

Smart Karts - Get behind the wheel of one of Silicon Valley's latest and greatest inventions: the first electric smart-kart for kids. Campers must wear helmets while driving go-karts. While the camp will provide helmets, we prefer and encourage you to provide your own if you have one and your child would like to participate.

Gaga - Jump into a fast paced, high energy version of dodgeball played in an octagonal pit.
