Steve & Kate's Los Angeles - Westside
· DATES: Jun 13 - Aug 11, 2017
· ADDRESS: Walgrove Avenue Elementary School, 1630 Walgrove Avenue, Los Angeles
It takes a village.
Hey camp families! I joined the Steve & Kate’s Camp family in March 2016. I’ve been working with children and families for most of my life, but the most important experience I have with children is being a mom to my two amazingly talented boys. As a parent of the Westside community, I love getting to know other families and sharing our stories of what raising children looks and feels like. Steve & Kate’s Camp provides the opportunity to be a part of something bigger than myself. And how lucky am I to get to know you and your children and share the joy of discovery and learning?! At the Westside, my hope is to build a stronger community for all of our children. As the saying goes, “it takes a village...” And I’m excited to be part of your village! - Heather
Let's start a conversation »
The director of the West LA Beethoven site (Heather) was fantastic. I loved her energy, her flexibility, and her attitude. I had some specific concerns about my daughter over the summer and she addressed them all. She was great! - Anne Marie R. (Westside parent)
You are the best. The kids and Steve & Kate’s, overall couldn't have found a better director. Love your energy and attitude! Let's see if you can keep it up throughout the Summer! - Debi S. (Westside parent)
The staff of the Westside campus were extraordinary. Understanding and encouraging. They seemed to have a unique relationship with all their campers that fostered inclusion and individuality simultaneously. - Kelly & Erich A. (Westside parent)
Activities for every interest.

Each day at camp, we feature at least one of three show stoppers from our lineup for campers to experience. Directors at each location will decide when and how often to schedule each of these Specials, so feel free to contact your Director to find out what will be scheduled each day.
Gaga - Jump into a fast paced, high energy version of dodgeball played in an octagonal pit.
Water Tag - Duck, dive, and weave your way through obstacles while getting splashed by sprinklers, water balloons, and blasters. Weather permitting, this will be offered most afternoons. Please bring a swimsuit and towel if your camper would like to participate.
Drift Trikes - Drive and drift while cruising around camp in our big-wheeled trikes. Campers must wear helmets while driving the trikes. While the camp will provide helmets, we prefer and encourage you to provide your own if you have one and your child would like to participate.
