Steve & Kate's Kentfield
· DATES: Jun 19 - Aug 18, 2017
· ADDRESS: Bacich Elementary School, 699 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, Kentfield
When you give kids choice, amazing things happen.
I love being apart of not just a camp but a community where parents trust me to be apart of their ‘village’. I enjoy being able to create an environment for kids to safely test creative boundaries, make mistakes while gaining trust in their own decisions, and learn to further respect others as well as themselves. It’s rewarding to see returning campers show up on the first day of camp so comfortable it’s as if camp never ended the year before. Or to see a first time 5-year-old by the end of summer who gains so much confidence and independence from making their own choices that it surprises their parent to see them run off in excitement at check-in without a hug goodbye. - Bear
Let's start a conversation »
Our kids look forward to Steve & Kate's camp all year. The incredible range of activities, the positive and creative staff, and the laid-back vibe make summer feel like summer. And I'm grateful for the break from making lunches (I can't believe how much our kids love the food). We've been going for four years and we'll keep going until they make us stop! - Alexa K. (Kentfield parent)
What a great program! I cannot say good enough things about Steve & Kate's and I think you play a big role in it! Kids love Steve & Kate's this was our 3rd summer (Edgar's second) and we are planning on returning again next summer. In fact, Dylan is already planning on becoming a "mentee" and is planning on working at Steve & Kate's when she grows up. Thank you for everything you do! - Kathy M. (Kentfield parent)
Steve & Kate's is the best! Our daughter loves all the different activities and the staff are super caring and supportive. Bear is amazing and has made our experience at Steve & Kate's really special. There is a real sense of community and our daughter has made friends at camp that she continues to keep in contact with. Honestly, when we signed our daughter up two summers ago I never would have anticipated what a positive experience it would be, or how much she would anticipate returning each summer to do it all over again. - Sara L. (Kentfield parent)
