Extend the Summer Splendor

Since summer is never long enough, we’re extending it via an all-outdoor Block Party, which is a unique blend of timeless outdoor games, street fair vibes, and free play. Our block parties are all about low-tech, high-energy activities that celebrate the joy of being outside–one last time before heading back to school.

Goodies for Grown-Ups

We get it–you deserve to stretch out that summer freedom, too. While our Block Parties are just for kids, we have plenty of benefits for adults as well. Just like all our programs, families can join us for any number of days. There are no weekly sessions or advanced commitments required. And if anything changes, we’ll refund all unused Day Passes automatically after the session has completed.

Activities

Block Party Activities

Our focus on low-tech, outdoor fun helps campers disconnect from screens and reconnect with other campers through engaging activities, games, performances, and workshops. Our campus will be split into the six designated outdoor spaces below that campers can flow freely between–designing their day in real-time.

sports_1b — We’ve revitalized the excitement of field day with a diverse array of games–both classic and new–to keep kids engaged and moving. Capture the flag, slip-n-slides & water games, pick-up soccer, freeze tag, and/or parachute games are all possibilities in this space.

Chill out and cool down in our central hub to play board games, watch camper-made films, listen to stories, or grab a snack such as popcorn or a snow cone.

privacyandcoppa_2 — Rotating recreational showstoppers such as giant inflatables, foam parties, obstacle courses, slacklines, and more.

outdoor party — A space to see and be seen. Campers and professionals will come together for parties, performances, and presentations. Get excited for dance parties, musical guests, karaoke, open mic sessions, improve, camp Ted Talks, and more.

locations_1b — Campers unleash their creativity & imagination in this unrestricted play zone. We’ll provide basics like sidewalk chalk, bubbles, hammocks, and basic play materials, while camper’s design their own games and activities.

facepaint — Learn, make, or participate in staff-led workshops or demonstrations such as tie dying, making slime, or face painting.

Show off your talent in a camp wide talent show!

Old McDebbies Petting Zoo
Join us in the early morning for a fun petting zoo consisting of camels, alpaca, sheep, goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, and tortoises brought to you by the wonderful staff at Old McDebbie’s Farm!

Sea Serpent Inflatable Sprinkler
In the hot afternoon, cool off under the giant sea serpent inflatable sprinkler!

Silent Disco
Put on some headphones and rock out to some music during our Silent Disco party!

Mad Science
Ever wanted to see a volcano erupt? Join us for Mad Science!

Join us for our dual lane inflatable slip n slide!

Mythbusters
Do you know the show MythBusters? We are going to become our own Mythbusters and try our hand at some cool experiments

Slip n Slide Kickball
Join us for a slippery and fun version of kickball!

Crazy Cart Go Kart
Campers can pick between the pedaled or motorized Go Karts and race through an obstacle course! (Helmet and protection included)

Kona Ice
1:30-3:30
Cool off on the last day from the heat with our friends at Kona Ice!

Just like any good Block Party–we’ve got all the food covered. Campers will choose from a variety of kid-friendly favorites for lunch, which will be delivered fresh daily. Children will also have access to sides, snacks, & block party treats throughout the day. Check out what’s available while you’re here:

Fees

What camp costs.

Perhaps you are a grown-up who loves to plan. Or maybe you’re an expert of the fine art of logistical improvisation. Miraculously, our camp fees are designed to scratch both of your respective itches. Buy any number of Day Passes, and use them whenever you want during the Block Party. Don’t even bother to let us know when you’re coming — just roll up. If your plans change, don’t sweat it. We’ll automatically refund your unused Day Passes in full at the end of the season. We also offer need-based financial aid to qualifying families, too. Learn more and submit an application here.

Day Pass fees cover the entire Steve & Kate’s Block Party experience, including lunch, snacks, activities and the entire day from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Once we get closer to summer, we’ll email registered families a link to our virtual, camp orientation.
