So whether you’re looking for more responsibility this summer, or a long-term position at Steve & Kate’s, here’s how your role can evolve into something bigger.

Whether you’re taking on camp year-round or stepping in seasonally, you’ll be responsible for creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for campers and staff. You’ll oversee daily operations, coach your team, build strong connections with families, and bring our camp philosophy to life.

Director Roles:

• Assistant Director: Start with an assistant director role to learn the ropes. You’ll team up with a camp director to manage the daily rhythm of camp, create a safe and welcoming environment, and lead the camp team. You’ll be right in the middle of all the action, learning key procedures.
• Senior Assistant Director: Run camp on-site during a school break with additional off-site support from a year-round director. Ideal for experienced leaders ready to take the next step.
• Seasonal Director: Lead camp and manage a team during the summer season with hands-on support from a Multi-Site Director, and receive training and preparation in the months leading up to camp.

Year-Round Leadership Roles:

• Year-Round Director: A full-time, year-round position with extended responsibilities outside of the summer season, including hiring, training, school break programming, and family outreach.
• Multi-Site Director: Manage a team of Seasonal Directors, preparing their camp locations during the pre-season, and providing hands-on support throughout the summer.
• Team Lead: Lead and support a team of Year-round and Multi-site Directors through every aspect of their work, driving accountability, collaboration, and growth across the region. This role requires strong management experience and proven leadership skills.
