Steve & Kate's Chicago - Lincoln Park
· DATES: Jun 26 - Aug 25, 2017
· ADDRESS: Alcott Elementary, 2625 North Orchard Street, Chicago
My favorite community.
I’ve spent 15+ years working for organizations that served kids, but Steve & Kate's is refreshingly different. I love how it marries my love of relationships across kids, parents, teachers, schools, neighbors, and the community. The relationships, they are what truly matters to me. We're all in this together, so let's talk. I think about the needs of campers AND the parent's, which is very important. That creates a real sense of community and it allows kids to feel inspired, feel free, and independently confident to make their own choices. There are moments that we work hard for, where we can literally watch a kid's confidence grow and, to me, nothing is better than that. - Jen
Let's start a conversation »
We have sent our kids to Steve & Kate’s Camp for the past few years, and we can’t say enough good things about the program! While the variety of activities are wonderful, what makes this camp what it is, is the incredible staff. The have provided a safe and loving environment for my kids to go to daily – one where the kids have a blast and one where I feel comfortable sending them each day. I know they care about each of the kids and treat them as if they were their own. I only wish Steve & Kate’s camp was around when I was a kid! - Tara B. (Lincoln Park parent)
Jen and her staff were awesome. It was my son’s first time experiencing summer camp and it could not have been a more memorable experience. From a parent perspective, I could not have asked for a more caring and passionate group of people. It was obvious from day one that every single camp counselor and staff member truly cares about all of the kids and making their camp experience the best and most memorable possible. I cannot wait for him to participate again next summer, we’re counting down the days. - Michelle S. (Lincoln Park parent)
I love how much my daughter loves everyday. She had me drop her off early and pick her up late, everyday. - Jennifer G. (Lincoln Park parent)
Activities for every interest.

Each day at camp, we feature at least one of three show stoppers from our lineup for campers to experience. Directors at each location will decide when and how often to schedule each of these Specials, so feel free to contact your Director to find out what will be scheduled each day.
Slip and Slide - Cool off in style in our inflatable slip and slide. Weather permitting, this will be offered most afternoons. Please bring a swimsuit and towel if your camper would like to participate.
Smart Karts - Get behind the wheel of one of Silicon Valley's latest and greatest inventions: the first electric smart-kart for kids. Campers must wear helmets while driving go-karts. While the camp will provide helmets, we prefer and encourage you to provide your own if you have one and your child would like to participate.
Zorbs - Climb inside of one of our giant 10' inflatable hamster balls and weave your way through an obstacle course as fast as a hamster.
