Steve & Kate's Seattle
· DATES: Jun 19 - Aug 18, 2017
· ADDRESS: Bright Water School, 1501 10th Avenue East, Seattle

We do this for the little moments.

We love what we do. Witnessing a child come into their own, navigating self-guided exploration and play. Witnessing a young person make a mistake, followed by the inevitable ‘a-ha!’ moment. Sharing with a parent that their painfully shy child stood on stage in front of a large crowd and proudly showed off the outfit she made in the Fashion Studio. This is truly what it’s all about for us.

This summer, with the help of staff and campers, we're cultivating a space that feels safe and supportive for every child. With trust and guidance from our families, we will work to create an uplifting environment that is welcoming and fun for one and all!

Parking

There will be construction at St. Mark's Cathedral (next door), which will affect on-site parking this summer. Please use the circle drive in front of the school for drop-off & pick-up. Free street parking along 10th Ave and surrounding areas, and 5 spaces in the drive are available. Please do not park in the spaces reserved for Gage Art Academy. For your convenience, we will be offering quick curbside drop-off & pick-up this summer.

Specials

Each day at camp, we feature at least one of three show stoppers from our lineup for campers to experience. Directors at each location will decide when and how often to schedule each of these Specials, so feel free to contact your Director to find out what will be scheduled each day.

Slip and Slide - Cool off in style in our inflatable slip and slide. Weather permitting, this will be offered most afternoons. Please bring a swimsuit and towel if your camper would like to participate.

Smart Karts - Get behind the wheel of one of Silicon Valley's latest and greatest inventions: the first electric smart-kart for kids. Campers must wear helmets while driving go-karts. While the camp will provide helmets, we prefer and encourage you to provide your own if you have one and your child would like to participate.

Zorbs - Climb inside of one of our giant 10' inflatable hamster balls and weave your way through an obstacle course as fast as a hamster.
