Boston Summer Day Camp

Summer has come to an end! Check out our 2022 camp programming below, and join our email list to be notified when our next camp season opens!

Kids Take Charge

Every aspect of our program is designed to put kids in charge of their own learning experience. At Steve & Kate’s, campers choose from a variety of activities in real-time, as they design their day at camp. As kids try, fail, and learn on their own–they learn to trust their own judgment. These will ultimately be the kids who are prepared to tackle the challenges of an ever changing world with creativity and confidence.

Fair, Flexible, & All-Inclusive Fees

Buy any number of weeks to use throughout the summer! Or, if you need more camp, we have a Summer Pass, which covers the entire camp season. All Passes include lunch, snacks, activities, and all hours (8am–6pm), so there are no surprise fees later on.

And if for any reason your plans change, we’ll refund your unused Passes automatically in full at summer’s end.

Advanced Weekly Reservations Required

This summer families will be required to reserve their weekly session prior to attending camp, due to Boston regulations. In order to provide care for as many full-time campers as possible, we ask that families please only reserve the session if they plan to attend the full week. Still, we understand things happen, and we’ll refund unused days if anything comes up.

Activities for Every Interest

During registration families will reserve their weekly sessions as part of registration. In the early morning and late afternoon, campers will ramp up and wind down with recreational choices. For the bulk of the day, children will choose from the activities listed below. While we can’t say exactly what the day will look like, one thing is for sure: The campers are in control.

Campers use scaffolded coding apps to build & play games. They'll also create stop-motion animations, movies, & music, as well as have access to other design tools.

Jump into the spotlight with dancing and karaoke, as well as performing art games, performances, & specials.

Hand & machine sewing are available for campers of all ages as well as options for embroidery, knitting, & other artistic flare.
special performance

Each week we'll bring in a show-stopping special such as a performance, workshop, or game. Check out our 2022 weekly special schedule!

Experienced bakers & professional taste-testers unite to experiment with different bread recipes & creations. Kids choose from a variety of fillings, spices, & add-ons to customize the flavors before & after they bake
sports and recreation

Campers and staff join together to play soccer, gaga, capture the flag, or whatever games children are interested in that day.

Imagination is the limit on what campers will create with a mix of basic maker kits, crafts, and art supplies.
Boston Water Play

When the weather gets hot, we’ll cool down with water games & activities such as water tag, sprinklers, or water balloons.
Pie day

At Steve & Kate's, Fridays are Pie Day! Our 40+ year tradition continues of ending the week with a whipped cream pie to the face.
