Boulder Summer Day Camp

I am so excited to be running Steve & Kate's Camp in Boulder. My background is in education, and I've always worked with kids. From coaching soccer and ice hockey, to working at an arts camp (I love all things art!), camp is just another part of my journey. I love being active and can't wait to get a chance to meet your kids this summer!

The surest path towards thriving is if kids are driving.

At Steve & Kate’s, we’ve always believed in following kids’ compasses. Today, our philosophy of self-direction feels even more vital. Campers act on their judgments and fuel their sense of self, develop the drive to adapt, leap and lead. We invest in kids’ boundless capability and credibility. They - and our world - will be better for it.

We can’t say exactly what days at camp will look like, where they’ll go, or what campers will wind up whipping up, but one thing’s for sure: kids drive.

Each day at camp, we offer at least one showstopper activity from our lineup of Specials, including our custom dual lane slip 'n slide on-site all summer. More info on this location’s weekly and daily specials in 2020 can be found below.

"My kids (7 and 10) have been to many camps in Boulder and have just finished up a week at Steve & Kate's camp in Boulder. They said this has been their favorite camp yet! They love the variety of activities offered each day and love that they are given choices, and the freedom to explore and create. Each day, they come home with something new - a prize won from Bingo, a shirt or water bottle holder they learned how to sew, sushi rolls for eating, new robotic and DJ skills, and new friends. Also, ordering lunch off the menu each morning is a huge hit! Every morning they are up and out of bed and ready to go to camp. They will be back for more for sure. Thanks to the Steve & Kate's crew!"

"I was so happy to see the smile on Lizzy’s face when I picked her up. She said her favorite part of the day was making friends with Maggie! She was proud of her sewing accomplishments! And she had fun on the slip n' slide. There’s so much for them to do! Oh, and the sushi ninjas are a hit with both kids. Dylan likes the programming and told me he was able to help another camper with their code. I love hearing that he’s helping others, and it gives his self esteem a nice little boost. He admitted he hadn’t noticed the rain! The pouring rain! It shows how engaged he was. He can’t wait for pie day and wanted to get up early so he could be there when camp opened. That’s saying a lot! I have to say, Steve & Kate's sounded a bit too good to be true, but we are all thrilled with how great it’s been! The flexibility is so helpful. Thank you!"
